Ashtanga is a yoga style that requires a lot of focus, breathing, strength, flexibility and discipline. It consists on a series of asanas (postures) and synchronizing the breath with these postures in order to produce an intense internal heat, enough to break into sweat. This detoxifies muscles and organs, improving circulation while having a calm mind.
